NB-2800 Ion Chromatograph
NB-2800 Ion Chromatography was created using the latest ion chromatography technology from both at home and abroad. 1. A chemically self-regenerating suppressor for a world class ion chromatograph.
When analyzing the eluent with a high background conductivity, the ion chromatograph is unable to receive a signal from the analyte through the chemical suppressor. To address this problem, when analyzing anions, CO32- and HCO3- is added to the eluent. By generating H+ ions through electrolysis, a low background conductivity can be fostered by forming H2CO3.When analyzing cations, H+ ions generated by electrolyzing water reacts with OH- ions to form water, and, therefore, decrease the background conductivity. Using electrolysis to produce H+ or OH- will also chemically regenerate the ion-exchange membranes.
We provide two kinds of chemically-regenerated supressors: anionic and cationic. We are the first in China to commericially produce anionic chemical suppressors. Our suppressor can handle large amounts and has a low background conductivity (able to detect up to ppb concentrations). Additionally, it has a small dead volume, good balance, and high repeatability. It is easy-to-use with almost no maintenance needed.

2. PEEKTM Infusion Pump
a) Ion chromatography can analyze both acidic and basic eluents. Consequently, the flow path must be corrosion-resistant, able to withstand high pressures, and remain unaffected by chemical reagents. Our PEEKTM Infusion Pump seeks to address these needs for maximum efficiency and with a long working lifespan. It is capable of withstanding pressures of up to 35 MPa with a maximum flow rate of 5 mL/min.
b) A conductivity detector is used as an universal detector for an ion chromatography. Because the solution flow rate must be highly stable, our infusion pump currently uses a new buffer tube. The buffer greatly reduces the number of pressure fluctuations in the pump, which increases the flow accuracy to 0.2 %. This eliminates baseline shifts caused by an unstable flow rate.
c) Automatic cleaning: Ensures maximum working efficiency by preventing the pump from drying up or from forming salt crystals. This limits any damage to the piston ring and the piston rods, which extends the pump's lifespan and reduces operating costs.
3. Chemically Self-Regenerating Suppressor
a) An internal structure specifically designed to reduce dead volume (< 50ml), as a large dead volume can cause a broad peak.
b) A platinum plated titanium electrode acts as a supportive membrane and as a flow path. In contrast with an insulated plate's, the titanium electrode's membrane has a greatly reduced voltage, and, thus, it prevents high voltages caused by thermal interference.
c) No need for strong acids or akalis to regenerate the membrane. Instead, through the electrolysis of water H+ and HO- ions are then used to regenerate the membrane.As such, the instrument is safe and easy to operate.
4. Conductivity Conductor
a) Because the conductivity of a solution is affected by temperature, we use a conductivity conductor with a temperature control system. With a temperature control accuracy of 0.01 °C, it is able precisely determine conductivity without interference caused by temperature.
b) A dynamic fluid testing structure significantly improves detection repeatability. Results from road tests indicate that the detector is unaffected to motion changes.
5. Operating Software
a) This Windows based operating software can maintain complete control of the instrument and monitor instrument status in real-time. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can complete a full analysis.
b) RS232 and an optional USB interface for greater flexibility and convenience.
6. EG100 Automatic Eluent Generator
a) EG100 is able to generate all kinds of eluents and single pump concentration gradients using a well-designed internal structure without a degassing device. With a longer working lifespan, it is responsible for more reliable and more secure analysis.
b) EG100 is compatible with a wide range of ion chromatographs. By attaching it to any ion chromatograph, the ion chromatograph will only require water to be used.
