Operating habits can affect the storage time of liquid nitrogen containers. Therefore, the following precautions should be taken when using them:

1. When storing vaccines, minimize the times of opening the neck stopper. This will reduce the amount of liquid nitrogen volatilization and extend the storage time of the liquid nitrogen tank. Especially when storing vaccines, ensure that the liquid nitrogen level is above the safety line, and any above the level should be immediately discarded.

2. When removing or placing specimens, lift the bucket vertically to the neck of the liquid nitrogen tank, expose the ampoule to be removed, and quickly remove only one ampoule at a time, then immediately return the bucket to the tank, reposition it, and replace the neck stopper. This process must be performed quickly to minimize liquid nitrogen volatilization.

3. Any bumps or dents in the container can cause a poor vacuum, and damage to the vacuum port can also affect liquid nitrogen volatilization.

Therefore, if we want to keep the biological liquid nitrogen container for a longer time, we need to check whether there are dents or abnormalities inside and outside the tank, whether there are foreign objects in the tank, whether the base is firmly fixed, and only start filling liquid nitrogen in a well-ventilated environment.
